Revocation Service and HelpDesk
The Population Register Centre publishes a revocation list in connection with the directory service of its certificates. The revocation list contains the certificates revoked due to, e.g., the card getting lost.
Using the directory service is free for users and providers of on-line services.
If your citizen certificate, e.g. your electronic identity card, gets lost, please report it immediately to the Revocation Service. The Revocation Service operates all day every day:
- Tel. 0800 162 622 (free if you are calling from inside Finland)
- When calling from abroad, +358 800 162 622 (+ local operator's charge)
On-line HelpDesk service operates every day between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.:
- Tel. 0600 9 6160 (local call charge/mobile charge)
HelpDesk provides instructions for on-line services in general as well as the software and equipment required.
